To register as an employer or candidate, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement.
4. Employer Accounts & Job Posting Rules
Employers agree to:
- Provide accurate business information
- Only post genuine job vacancies
- Ensure job content complies with UK employment law
- Not post misleading, discriminatory, or harmful content
- Pay all fees or credit purchases associated with job listings
4.1 Prohibited Job Content
Employers must not post:
- False or misleading job offers
- Spam, multi-level marketing, or solicitation roles
- Jobs involving illegal activity
- Content infringing intellectual property rights
5. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates agree to:
- Provide truthful information on their profile and applications
- Not impersonate another person
- Use the platform solely for job-seeking purposes
6. Payments, Credits & Subscriptions
Employers may purchase credits or subscriptions to post jobs, promote listings, or access premium features.
All purchases are final unless required otherwise by UK consumer law. Refunds are not typically provided for incorrectly posted jobs, unused credits, or expired listings.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design elements, and software on the Platform are owned by CompliChef Ltd or licensed to us. Users may not copy, redistribute, or modify the Platform without express permission.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You must not use the Platform to upload harmful content, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt service, or violate UK law.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
10. Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee job placement, hiring outcomes, platform uptime, or the accuracy of employer/candidate content. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- We are not responsible for interactions between employers and candidates
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or applicable UK law. Refunds will not be provided for violations, misuse, or fraudulent activity.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
