Chef de Partie

RIO Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established hospitality business near Peterborough, looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh food, takes pride in the quality and presentation of their dishes, and wants to become part of a busy and collaborative kitchen.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you'll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard while supporting the wider kitchen team.

• Preparing and cooking menu items to established recipes and presentation standards
• Preparing ingredients, including chopping, marinating and seasoning
• Maintaining excellent cleanliness and organisation across your section and the wider kitchen
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver an efficient service during busy periods
• Supporting and providing guidance to junior members of the kitchen team
• Contributing ideas towards new dishes and menu development
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering where required

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced professional kitchen
• Strong food preparation and cooking skills
• A good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• The confidence to support and motivate junior team members
• A genuine passion for hospitality and producing great food
